Catherine Humphrey Tedder, age 80, of Fairmont, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C.

She was born August 21, 1932 in Robeson County daughter of John Curtis Humphrey and Thelma Collins Humphrey.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Charles Tedder, Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Lynn Tedder Algier (Gil) Mooresville, Myra Tedder Rega (Jerry) of Coeur d?? Alene, Idaho, Charla Tedder Parker of Fuquay-Varina, Bill Tedder of Knoxville, Tennessee and two granddaughters, Kristin Bullard of Austin, Texas and Katie Bullard of Aiken, S.C.; one brother, Dr. J.C. Humphrey, Jr., as well as brothers-in-law Randall Tedder of Fairmont, Donald Tedder and wife Faye of Clemmons, C.L. Tedder, Jr. and wife Bobbie of Holly Springs, and sisters-in-law, Avis Tedder of Fairmont, and Audrey DeLong of Aberdeen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Catherine was a member of Fairmont First Baptist Church. She graduated from Lumberton High School and was a long time employee of Robeson County Schools.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Fairmont First Baptist Church with Dr. Jesse Yarbrough.

Burial will be in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
