Catherine F. Reynolds, age 93, of St. Pauls, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024. She was born in Fairmont, NC to the late Sprunt & Ruth W. Floyd.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Floyd; brothers, John Preston Floyd and James Sprunt Floyd; and grandson, Charlie Shane Reynolds.

Catherine graduated from Fairmont High School and Hardbarger's Business College. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, was a nursery helper, secretary to "Council of Ministries", and worked many years with Earlene and Laura Jean Ashley with "The Youth in the Methodist Church". She was also a Den Mother for 5 years for the Webelos Cub Scouts.

Catherine was employed at Southern National Bank for 12 years, then at Robeson Community College for 10 years with the GED program. When that federally funded program ended, she moved to Hope Mills and was employed at the courthouse until retiring. Then she spent some years working part-time as a crossing guard for Cumberland County Sheriff's Department. She especially liked being at Jack Britt High School, as she and Dr. Britt attended school together in Fairmont for 12 years.

Catherine is survived by her son, Joey Reynolds (Janna) of St. Pauls, NC, where she had been living since July 2022; her daughter, Cathy W. Naylor of Little River, SC; her grandchildren: Skye Whetstone, Ryne Reynolds, Everett Ford, Madison Holloman, and Macey Reynolds; and four great-granddaughters: Riley, Kinsey, Addy, and Karsyn Reynolds.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 11:30AM until 1:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Eddie Cox officiating.

A private entombment will be held at Gardens of Faith Mausoleum in Lumberton, NC.
