Catherine Simmons Hill's Obituary
Catherine Simmons Hill, age 86, of Fairmont, NC died in Florence, SC on Wednesday, September 16, 2009.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. K.J. Shorter officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont and other times at the home at 267 Bass Road in Fairmont.
Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Hill. She is survived by two sons, Willard Hill and special friend Nanci Davis of Fairmont and Garron Wallace Hill of Fairmont; and one daughter, Sharon Maker and husband, Kyle of Florence, SC.
Memorial gifts may be made to Alzheimers Association of NC, 400 Oberlin Road, Raleigh, NC 27605.
