Master Carson Donovan Wayne Davis, age 5, of Lumberton, NC, went peacefully to be with Jesus on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC ending his courageous fight with T-ALL Leukemia.  He was born on August 1, 2011 in Robeson County, NC.

Carson was a fun, adventurous child who loved playing with his big brothers, being outside, eating chicken and pastry, Crossfit, fishing, reading and riding his bike. His sweet smile, love for all things superheroes, and his colorful, mismatched clothes, are all traits of Carson that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Carson leaves to cherish his memories with his mother, Jonna L. Davis, of the home; his father, B. Lance Davis of Lumberton; three brothers, Christian Scott Tew of Godwin, NC and Jackson Lance Davis and Austin Morrison Davis, both of the home; his maternal grandparents, John and Donna Morrison of Westwood, MA; his paternal grandparents, Buddy and Betty Ann Davis of Bladenboro and Jackie and Charles Britt of Lumberton; his maternal great-grandmother, Bernice "Bunny" Donovan of Peterborough, NH; his paternal great-grandparents, Jackie and Wayne Richardson of Lumberton; his aunt, Karyn Morrison and his cousin, Sarah Hutchison, both of Westwood, MA, along with many friends, coaches, teachers, and family members who all loved him dearly.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11:00AM at Antioch Baptist Church with Pastors Jeff Mitchell, Hector Miray, and Samuel Powers officiating.  Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.
