Mrs. Carolyn Grimsley Taylor, age 71, of Shannon, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born on April 15, 1947 in Dillon County, SC to the late Lewis Grimsley and the late Myrtle Jackson Grimsley.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Clifton Taylor, Jr. of the home; her children, Eric Clifton Taylor of Lumberton and Donna Carol Hicks of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Zachary Hicks and Jordan Hicks; two brothers, Leroy Grimsley of Dillon, SC and Steve Grimsley of Proctorville; and three sisters: Janice McLean (Grady) of Lumberton, Barbara Lee (Roger Dale) of Lumberton, and Gail Bourgoin (Jimmy) of Dillon, SC.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
