Ms. Carolyn Lowery, 72, of Lumberton, NC, departed this life on Thursday, September 23, 2021. She was born in Lumberton, NC on May 10, 1949 to the late Ed and Ethel Mae Jacobs.

She is survived by one brother, Edrick Jacobs (Josephine) of Matthews, NC; three sisters: Annie Horton (Allen) of DeRidder, LA, Marilyn Sherry of Gatlinburg, TN, and Jackie Pevia (Ernest) of Lumberton, NC; a great-nephew, Dakota Eddings (Carol) of the home; a special friend, Helen Hunt; and numerous extended family members, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Monday, September 27, 2021, from 2:00-3:00 PM at New Point Baptist Church, 3410 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Chris Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in the church's cemetery.
