Carolyn Maureen Collins Lovin, age 84, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 at home. Carolyn was born in Robeson County on June 4, 1939 to the late Frank and Dolly Blackmon Collins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ertle Collins, Edna Rae Collins Musselwhite, Roland Collins, Carey Collins;  her granddaughter, Lora Kathryn Young and her great-grandson, Braxton Colin Young.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Mack Alton Lovin, two daughters, Deborah Lovin Young (Mike), Leslie Lovin Singletary (Edward) and one son, Mack Alton Lovin, Jr. (Harriette); three sisters, Vera Collins Sealey, Barbara Collins Sealey and Frankie Jean Collins Britt (Frankie), five grandchildren, Brett Young (Lauren), Justin Dove (Jessica), Patrick Dove (Scarlett), Mary Caroline Singletary Hinson (Jonathan) and Kyle Lovin; ten great-grandchildren, Abbey Young Lewis (Richard), Emily Young, Hudson Dove, Addison Dove, Johnny Dove, Wyatt Dove, Harlow Dove, Freya Dove, Jonathan Hinson and Maddie Hinson.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memory Gardens on Old Whiteville Road, Lumberton, NC with Pastor Brett Young officiating.
