Carolyn Hunt Bell, age 70, of Lumberton, NC died on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 25, 1939 to Devon Hunt and Lula Mae Locklear Hunt. She previously worked as a seamstress at Logo\\chr(39)s Company.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Uyon Sanover; and two brothers, Steven Hunt and Willie F. Hunt.

Mrs. Bell is survived her husband, James Albert Bell of the home; two brothers, Lewis Hunt of Fairmont, NC and Jimmy Ray Hunt of Maxton, NC; and four sisters, Lorraine Fiveash of Stone Mountain, GA, Rosa Graham of Rowland, NC, Jennifer Ann Hunt of Lancaster, CA and Pam Hunt of Rowland, NC.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Deep Branch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Albert Hunt and Rev. Thomas Oxendine officiating. Burial will be in Lumbee Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E 5th Street in Lumberton.
