Carolyn Floyd Allen, age 70, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on January 1, 1945 to the late Odell Floyd and the late Viola Yates Floyd. She was a self-employed beautician. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Randy Floyd. Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Donald K. Allen, Sr. of the home; a son, Donald K. Allen II; a daughter, Toni Allen White (Ted) of Lumberton; brothers, Jimmy Mack Floyd, French Floyd, and Channing Floyd all of Lumberton; a sister, Kathy Lamb of Lumberton; three grandchildren, Zachary Allen White, Madison Caroline White, and Chloe Grace Allen; and a host of nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 3:00-4:00 PM at the Zion Hill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Hwy 41 N, Lumberton, with Rev. LeRoy Burke and Rev. Tony Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
