Carole Sue Moore Barnes, 70, of Lumberton, NC died on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Gadsden, AL on August 26, 1941 to the late Paul Moore and Bertha Kitchens Moore. She was a homemaker.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father, George Honeycutt.

Mrs. Barnes is survived by her husband, Charles Barnes of the home; a daughter, Lynita Burns of the home; and a sister, Gina Sirdoreus of Orlando, FL; and a nephew, Adam Sirdoreus of Orlando, FL.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. O??Neal Parker officiating.

Visitation will be on Friday prior to the service from 6:00-7:00 PM and also following the service at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

The family would like to thank Southeastern Hospice House for their compassionate care to Mrs. Barnes and her family.
