Carol Thompson, age 51, of Lumberton, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at her home. She was born on March 11, 1960 to the late Chess Thompson and the late Harvelean Oxendine Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Locklear, of the home; three sons, Angelo Thompson and Austin Thompson, both of Red Springs and Harlie Thompson, of the home; two daughters, Angie Scott and April Thompson, both of Lumberton; one brother, Ervin Thompson, of the home; one sister, Jackie Thompson of Pembroke and ten grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 201 at 2:00PM at Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Pembroke with Rev. Steve Strickland and Rev. Harley Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in Oxendine Cemetery in Pembroke.

A vistiation will be held on Wednesday evening, October 19, 2011 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.
