Ms. Carol Willis Powers, age 86, of Lumberton, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Lumberton Health and Rehab in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on March 29, 1934 to the late John Tilman Willis and the late Virgie Musselwhite Willis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Powers, and a fur baby, Elvis.

Surviving are two sons, James E. Powers and John K. Powers and wife Sherri, all of Lumberton, NC; three daughters: Donna Patterson and husband Rickey of St. Pauls, NC, Vickie Powers and special friend Becky Olson of Knightdale, NC, and Melissa Ferrara and husband Andrew of Sanford, NC; one sister, Jackie Cribb of Cary, NC; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and her fur baby, Peaches.

A private graveside service will be held at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Merle Martin officiating.
