Carol Louise DeBoise Phillips, age 57, of Lumberton NC passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton. She was born in Bladen County, NC on December 9, 1956 to the late J.D. DeBoise, Sr. and Edna Earl Gray DeBoise. She previously worked as a waitress. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her mother, Edna DeBoise; a son, Chadrick Lynn Perry and wife Renee' of Lumberton; a daughter, April McLaughlin of Lumberton; a brother, J. D. DeBoise, Jr. of Lumberton; a sister, Deborah DeBoise Brigman, and husband, Asper Vernon, Jr. of Lumberton; five grandchildren and five nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeff Broadwell officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton. Visitation will be from 11:00-12:00 Noon on Wednesday prior to the service at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.
