Carol Lynn Williamson Hunt, age 43, of Lumberton, NC died on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on March 17, 1967 to Horace Mitchell and Defean Barnes Williamson. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Horace Mitchell Williamson.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by her husband, Wilbert Hunt of the home; her mother, Defean Williamson of Evergreen, NC; one son, Earl Hunt of the home; one daughter, Michelle Williamson of the home; three brothers, Horace Williamson, Ernest Williamson and Harvey Williamson all of Evergreen, NC; one sister, Patricia Williamson Nance of Chadbourn, NC; a close friend, Angie Roller of Lumberton, NC; and a host of family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Smyrna Baptist Church in Lumberton with Rev. Gerald Smith, Rev. David Hunt and Rev. Horace Oxendine officiating. Burial will follow in Robeson Memorial Park.

Visitation will be on Thursday evening, June 10, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton and at other times at 437 McKinnon Rollin Road.
