Carlie Nunnery Humphrey, age 79, of Lumberton, NC died on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  She was born in Cumberland County, NC on February 12, 1938 to the late Dewey Nunnery and the late Lois A. Nunnery.  She retired after 25 years from Lumberton Housing as a property manager at Mohr Plaza and Lumbee Homes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Worth Humphrey; brothers, Ben, W.D., and Sam Nunnery; sister-in-law, Margie H. Spivey.

Mrs. Humphrey is survived by her sons, Douglas Humphrey (Maria) and James Humphrey (Robin) all of Lumberton; daughter, Penny Harden (Dwayne) of Lumberton; brother, Wayne Nunnery of St. Pauls; sister Bertie N. Jessup of Fayetteville; and grandchildren, Paul Harden, Valerie, Dylan, Jesse, Sean, and Brooke Humphrey, and Nicholas Lowry.

There will be a visitation with the family on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.  All other arrangements are private.
