Mr. Carl Ray Turner, age 56, of Fairmont passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 with his family and friends by his side at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 3:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. Ricky Burnett, Ordained Bishop James Earl Hunt and Mr. Sam Freeman.

Burial will follow in Lower/Turner Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 7:00-9:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services.

Mr. Turner was born October 16, 1960 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his father, Benny Turner; a brother, Timothy Turner.

He is survived by two daughters, Rachel Dial of Fairmont and Nichole Dial of Lumberton; his mother, Dardenella J. Turner of Fairmont; three sisters, Jennifer Lowery and Sylvia Dial both of Fairmont and Donna Turner of Whiteville; three grandchildren, Victoria Powell, Reginald Hunt and Kelsey Hunt; a special friend of seventeen years, Sylvia Lowery; and a great host of other relatives and friends.
