Carl Franklin Ross, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Carl Franklin Ross, Jr., age 78, of Lumberton, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born on March 19, 1940 in Columbus, County to the late Carl Franklin Ross, Sr. and the late Lillie Belle Elkins Ross. He previously worked as a Foreman with Carolina Power & Light.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Doris Faye Lee Ross; a daughter, Carla Faye Ross Parker; and an infant sister, Bettsy Caryl Ross.
He leaves to cherish his memories with his son, Franklin Keith Ross and wife, Roxana Lee Ross of Lumberton; a brother, Eddie Ray Ross of Burgaw; and two grandchildren: Amelia Katherine Ross and Elizabeth Jane Ross.
A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Brust officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.
