Carl Britt, 68, of Lumberton, NC died on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County, NC on August 6, 1943 to the late Leonard Britt and Isabell McClean Britt. He formerly was employed doing roof work for T.R. Driscoll.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Monnie Neil Britt.

Mr. Britt is survived by a son Carl Wayne Britt of Wilmington; a daughter, Michelle Britt Parker of Lumberton; three brothers, Bobby Britt and Ernest Britt both of Lumberton and Alfred Britt of Holden Beach; a sister, Patsy Hayes of Lumberton; and two grandchildren, Kayla Parker and Paige Parker.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at New Hollywood Cemetery with Rev. Tim Williford, Jr. officiating.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
