Byron Keith Lowery, 65, of Maxton, NC, died Friday, December 17, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Scotland County, NC on March 9, 1956 to the late Lonnie Marshall Lowery and the late Luellen Bullard Lowery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and later became employed in the construction industry as an electrician.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lawanna Price.

He is survived by three brothers: Donald Yates Lowery, Eddie V. Lowery, and Jack L. Lowery, all of Maxton, NC; and two sisters, Shelia Locklear of Maxton, NC and Linda Rogers of Red Springs, NC.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at 2:00 PM at his home, 7354 NC Hwy 71 N in Maxton, NC.
