Mrs. Burnell Arnette Rogers, age 82, of Fairmont, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. She was born in Robeson County on November 25, 1929 to the late Sam Arnette and Vivian Bass Arnette. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Benton Rogers.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her son, Keith Rogers of Fairmont; one daughter, Vickie Willoughby of Kernersville, NC; three brothers, Kelton Arnette of Fairmont, NC, Bill Arnette of Hamer, SC and J.D. Arnette of Fairmont, NC; one sister, Lucille Huggins of Darlington, SC; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11:00AM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont. Burial will follow at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.
