Mr. Harold Bruce Locklear, age 64, of Lumberton, NC, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at his sister's home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on April 25, 1957 to the late Lester Locklear and the late Mary Lois Strickland Locklear.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Bullard, and a niece, Carol Lee Simmons.

He leaves behind his loving family: one daughter, Melissa Lambert (Jimmy) of Lumberton, NC; a brother, Lester Strickland, Jr. of Lumberton, NC; four sisters: Lucy Jacobs (Joey) of Lumberton, NC, Mary Jane Hunt (Jeff) of Shannon, NC, Rose Lewis (Larry) of Lumberton, NC, and Lee Locklear of Lumberton, NC; his stepfather, Delton Locklear of Red Springs, NC; two grandchildren, Danielle and Christopher; and seven great-grandchildren: Walker, Hunter, Leanna, Ryder, McKenize, Jasper, and Grayson.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021, at 1:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Larry Chavis officiating.  Burial will follow at Lumbee Memorial Gardens, 774 Moss Neck Road in Lumberton, NC.  A time of visitation will follow the services at the graveside.
