Bruce Levarn Kizar, age 70, of Lumberton, NC died at his residence on Thursday, May 4, 2017.  He was born in Robeson County on October 31, 1946 to the late Jessie and Ruby Evertt Kizar.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Bobbie Jean Kizar.

Mr. Kizar is survived by his wife, Rusty Kizar of the home; sons, John Gregory Kizar of Fairmont and Jessie "Lucky" Kizar and fiancé, Angela Stead of Lumberton; daughter, Christy Sanders and husband, Jamie of SC; brothers, Lonnie Kizar and wife, Libby and Gene Johnson both of Lumberton; sisters, Helen Johnson husband, Earl of Lumberton, Elizabeth English and husband, Dan of White Oak, Ruth Byron of Lakeland, FL, and Mary Vandevander of Star; and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeff Broadwell officiating.
