Mrs. Brenda Sutton Walters, age 78, of Orrum, passed away at her residence on February 11, 2021.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on September 8, 1942 to the late Robert Sutton and the late Merl Walters Sutton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack D Walters, Jr. and her sister, Robbie Sutton.

Mrs. Walters is survived by her son, Mack Dee Walters, III (Janice) of West End, NC; two daughters, Denise McDaniel (Wes) and Delaine Callihan (Steve), all of Orrum; four grandchildren, Denise McShane (Thomas), Jamie Mack Kellahan (Amy), Leslie Walters (Ryan Davis) and Deena Walters Mauldin (Lance); six great-grandchildren, Laine, Lana, Deegan, ZoeJane, Archer and Finn and a special friend and devoted caregiver, Carolyn Ann Walters of Orrum.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 2:00-3:00PM outside of the Bloomingdale Baptist Church, 1758 Bloomingdale Road, Orrum, NC.

A funeral service for immediate family only will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 3:00PM at Bloomingdale Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Fields and Pastor Lance Mauldin officiating.  (The public will be able to attend via radio broadcast in the church parking lot by tuning in to 88.3 FM.)  Burial will follow at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.
