Brenda Sue Thompson McDougall, 64, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born July 16, 1952 in Cumberland County to the late Wadeus & Eunice Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Karl McDougall of the home; three daughters: Karen Mayers Hendren and husband David of Lumberton, Tammy Lober and husband Jere of FL, and Leslie McDougall Hash of Wilmington; one brother, David Thompson and wife Janice of St. Pauls; two sisters: Betty Smith and husband Steve of Lumberton and Lisa Benton and husband Tommy of St. Pauls; and eight grandchildren: Jordan Mayers, Jaylen Carter, Brandon Lober, Joshua Lober, Kara Lober, Brittany Hash, Hayden Leedy, and Hallie Leedy; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A time of visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Lowery, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls.
