Ms. Brenda Lee Britt, age 75, of Lumberton,  peacefully entered her Heavenly home on October 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on November 3, 1949 to the late Neil "Buddy" Barnes Jr. and Clara Mae Barnes, and preceded in death by her two granddaughters, Synita and Wynita Bullard. Brenda lived a life rooted in faith, love, and kindness. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend whose gentle spirit and giving heart touched everyone she met.

Brenda was known for her unwavering love of her family and friends. She poured her heart into those she loved, especially her grandchildren, whom she considered her greatest joy. Her favorite thing to do was prepare a meal every Sunday for her family. She was a hard worker, which included construction work, textile for many years, and finishing her career at MJ Sofee in Rowland, NC. She is the true epitome of a Matriarch to her family.

She is survived by four children, Lisa Burchette (Timmy) of Whiteville, Randy Bullard (Lisa) of Boardman, Wanda Bullard of Orrum, and Veronica Britt (Mike) of Lumberton, 10 grand children Jonathan Wilcox, Kelly Burchette, Travis Burchette, Martin Bullard, Misty English, Timothy Little, LeAnn Little, Justin Little, Ricky Bullard, Clinton Koone, and her bonus grandson Keno Lowery and 16 great grand children, four siblings Annie Pearl Lindsey of Raynham, Durham "Bucky" Barnes of Fairmont, Allen Wayne Barnes of the home in Lumberton, and Betty Carol Jacobs (Lindsey) of Lumberton, her special caregivers Judy Hunt, Patricia Jacobs and Sierra, along with countless friends and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that her light continues to shine in all of us. Her legacy of love, faith, and family will live on through the lives she touched.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC, with Bishop Kary Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
