Mrs. Brenda Faye Hunt Carter, age 73, of Fairmont, NC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 6, 1952 in Robeson County.

Brenda was a very devoted Christian wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who loved her family and was a dedicated member of McDonald Pentecostal Holiness church. Whenever you met her in town or at a restaurant, she was always the same, greeting you with a smile.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bunion Hunt and Elleree Hunt; five sisters, Willa Mae Brooks, Shirley Bullard, Iler Mae Freeman, Blondie Oxendine and Barbara Ann Hunt; two brothers, Percell Hunt and Willie C. Hunt.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of forty-six years, Ronald Carter of the home; two daughters, Laneasal Hunt (Jeremy) of Fairmont and Kameka Carter (Renee Whitney) of Pinehurst; four grandchildren, Amber Hunt, Shonesty Hunt, Kylie Earl, and Cody Hite; two great-grandchildren, Karston Hite and Akaylon Hite; two sisters, Gladys Freeman of Lumberton and Rebecca Hunt of Fairmont; one brother, Branford (Dusty) Hunt of Fairmont; six special friends, Samantha Odum, Carol Locklear, Aytoiya Thompson, Victoria Olo, Catherine Oxendine and Brenda Hunt and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 2:00PM at McDonald Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4291 McDonald Road, Fairmont.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
