Brenda Faye Norris Tyner, age 72, of Lumberton, NC died on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on February 6, 1945 to the late Jake Marion Norris and Pansy Lenoir Lewis Norris.  She was a retired waitress for Shoneys.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Nathan Thomas Tyner.

Mrs. Tyner is survived by her son, Thomas Dean Tyner of Lumberton; daughters, Nathalan "Sissy" West (Wade) and Vanessa Kaye Tyner both of Lumberton; a brother, Glenn Norris (Deborah) of Lumberton; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. James Hunt officiating.  Burial will follow the service in Floyd Memory Gardens.
