Brenda Faye Hunt, age 76, of Fairmont, NC passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

Brenda was born on March 22, 1948 in Robeson County to the late Johnnie Hunt and the late Cora Lee Lewis Hunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Donnie Bell Hunt, Blanchie Hall, Christine Hunt, Linda Rose Carter, Ted Hunt, Cletois Hunt, and Johnnie Purcell Hunt.

She is survived by her loving children, Gwendolyn Hunt Hammonds (Greg) of Kilgore, TX, Linda Kaye Hunt Rodrigue of Smithville, NC and Tracy Hunt Hammonds (Jeffery) of Spring Lake, NC; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; her special friends, Jenny Oxendine and Deloris Hunt.

The family would like to thank Lower Cape Fear Hospice and We Care For You providers for all the care and love that they showed to their mom.

A service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
