Ms. Brenda Hunt Collins, age 74, of Fairmont, NC passed away at the home on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Brenda was born November 9, 1951 in Robeson County to the late Sherwood Hunt Sr. and the late Hattie Mae Lewis Hunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Troy Hunt, Roy Hunt, Clayton Hunt and Sherwood Hunt Jr.; two sisters, Retha Williams and Ellen Ivey.

Brenda is survived by two daughters, Tammy Lowery (Hezzie) of Maxton and Carolyn Collins of Fairmont; a son, Marty L. Collins (Ashley) of Fairmont; four grandchildren Justin Ray Manning, Justina Manning, Nicholas Lowery and Emily Lowery; two great grandchildren, Isaiah Jones Jr. and Zo Lani Mona Manning and her sister Clementine Hunt of Fairmont; as well as many other family members and friends.

Brenda was a seamstress for many years and became disabled while working at Badger Sportswear. She loved her family being at her house especially her grandchildren. She gave her life to the Lord in 2025.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 at The Lord's House, 1301 Brayboy Road, Rowland.

Burial will follow in Fairpoint Church Cemetery across from the funeral home.
