Ms. Brenda Demery, age 68, of Lumberton, passed away February 2, 2017 at Lumberton Health Care.

A time of Visitation/Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 6:00-9:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Burial will be private.

She was born November 17, 1948 in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Early Carter and Queen Esther Smith Carter; her husband, Jay Demery; a brother Early Carter, Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Ray Carter and wife Trina of Lumberton and Christopher Demery of Maxton; three brothers, Chan Carter and David Carter both of Maxton and Michael Carter of Lumberton; five sisters, Catherine Oxendine and Rebecca Miller both of Pembroke, Nancy Oxendine of Rowland, Ester Revels of Lumberton and Teresa Thompson of Red Springs; seven grandchildren.
