Mrs. Brenda Baxley Warwick, age 78, of Lumberton, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on October 1, 1944 to the late Elmer Baxley and the late Gladys Dean Baxley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Keith Shaw.

Brenda is survived by her son, James Robert Shaw of Beulaville; her daughter, Joey Michele Wilson (Jon) of Bladenboro; three sisters, Linda Gayle Baxley, Judy Turner and Joyce Davis; her grandchildren, Christopher Shaw, Jennifer Shaw Buckner, Madison Michele Walters-Mercer, Michael Grant Elliott, Cody Wilson, Jonny Wilson and Cory Wilson and her great-grandchildren, Branson Mercer, Jace Mercer, Hannah Buckner, Abigail Wilson, Kayleigh Wilson, Channing Wilson, Laila Wilson, Cora Wilson and Cadum Wilson and her loyal companion, Marley.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 6:00-8:00PM at the home of Jon and Joey Wilson, 1702 Marsh Road, Bladenboro, NC 28320.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will follow on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 1:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Neal Watson officiating.  Entombment at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton will be at a later date.
