Brenda Bailey Britt's Obituary
Brenda Bailey Britt, 76 of Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2017. She was born in Robeson County on April 24, 1940 to the late Hal Newman Bailey and Estelle Powell. After college she worked with BB&T Bank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Bobby Huston Britt Sr. and brothers; Lynn Ryan Bailey, and Kent Bailey.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her son Bobby Huston Britt Jr. (Lori) , her daughter Starla Britt Stephens (Dickie), both of Orrum, N.C. ; her brother Ronnie Bailey of Lumberton, four grandchildren, Cory Britt (Amber), Bobbi Oliver (Jonathan), Michael Rising, Joshua Stephens; and one great-grandchild, Isla Jolie Oliver.
A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, from 6-8PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 11AM at Mt Elim Baptist Church with Rev. James Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington,N.C. 28401
