Mr. Bradford Freeman, age 81, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County on November 9, 1937, to the late James G. Freeman and the late Grace Lamb Freeman. He previously worked for Winn-Dixie and Food Lion as the Meat Dept. Manager before retiring.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cynthia Freeman, and a brother, Mitchell Freeman.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Townsend Freeman of the home; his son, William Bradford Freeman and wife Teresa of Holly Springs, NC; three grandchildren: Daniel Freeman, Anna Carr and husband Alex, and Emily Cummings and husband Dylan; and one sister, Betty Rodgers of Lumberton.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, September 8, 2019, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Raft Swamp Baptist Church in Lumberton. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Mark Hall officiating.
