Bonnie Scott Willoughby, age 88, of Fairmont, NC, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Greenbrier Assisted Living in Fairmont, NC. She was born June 21, 1933 in Robeson County, NC to the late Gurney Scott and Ophelia Ivey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edison Willoughby; one daughter, Shella Willoughby; and three sisters: Mildred Nance, Brenda Faulk, and Lucille Townsend.

She is survived by two sons, Dwight Willoughby and wife Vickie of Gastonia, NC and Mark Willoughby and wife Pat of Fairmont, NC; one sister, Martha Townsend of Fairmont, NC; three grandchildren: Matthew Edison Willoughby, Julian Willoughby, and Justin Willoughby; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont, NC with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.
