Bobby Wayne Johnson, age 81, of Lumberton, NC died on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  He was born in Bladen County, NC on September 11, 1934 to the late Johnnie W. and Annie Mae Smith Johnson.  He retired as an employee of the Pepsi Cola Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Clayton Johnson and Paul Moody Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Emogene Townsend Tyner Johnson of Lumberton; daughters, Theressa Freeman (John) of Lumberton, Marie Rogers (Wilson) of Clayton, Tammy Anderson (Daniel) of Lumberton; sister, Barbara Peterson (Odell) of Garland; and grandchildren, Ethan Freeman, Jaimee Conner, Jessica Rogers, Abby Conner, Austin Conner, and Justin Rogers.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM Meadowbrook Cemetery with Rev. Leslie Sessoms and Rev. Odell Peterson officiating.  A time of visitation will follow the service at the graveside.  The family will also receive friends at 352 Arlington Drive in Lumberton.
