Bobby Kenneth Lewis, age 76, of Fairmont, NC passed away at Regency Hospital of Florence on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Bobby was born in Robeson County on February 29, 1948 to the late A. C. Lewis and Maitland Parker Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by brothers, Larry Lewis and Gerald Lewis.

Bobby owned and operated Tem-Per-Ture Control in Lumberton for 47 years. He was known for his residential and commercial HVAC services and special services he offered to churches in Robeson and surrounding counties. Bobby was a licensed private pilot. He enjoyed traveling and working on the farm. He also enjoyed his newest hobby of fishing. He was a faithful member of West Lumberton Baptist Church, Lumberton, NC where he served in various positions over the years.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Violet Sealey Lewis; brother, Clay Lewis (Jamie); nephews, Todd Lewis, Jon Barrett Lewis, and Jackson Lewis; nieces, Jennifer Lewis and Sherry Lewis. Much appreciation is given to the Walters, Maxwell, Martin, and Stallings families for their love, encouragement and support during these difficult days. Bobby is also survived many more friends and relatives.

A visitation will be held prior to the service on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at West Lumberton Baptist Church, 2320 W. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM. Burial will be at the Floyd Memorial Cemetery, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC immediately following the service. Rev. Rick Foreman will be officiating the service.
