Rev. Bobby Davis' Obituary
Rev. Bobby Alford Davis, age 77, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born October 7, 1940 in Robeson County to the late Hallie Nobles Davis.
He was preceded in death by his mother; his brother, James Davis; and two sisters: Mary Lou Connor and Illa Jane Davis.
Rev. Davis is survived by his wife, Rosella Shahan Davis of the home; his daughter, Beverly Jackson and husband Danny Jackson, Jr. of Lumberton; two stepdaughters: CJ Hammonds and husband Jerry of Fayetteville and Gail Whipkey and husband Tom of Canton, OH; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 31, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2018, at 4:00 PM at Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Lumberton with Rev. Daniel Evans and Rev. George Connor officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
