Bobby Lacy Britt, age 83 of 11146 Hwy 41 S. Fairmont died Thursday January 10, 2013 at Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville, NC.
He was born June 20, 1929 in Robeson County.
He was a US Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Britt;
He is survived by two sons, Robert Gary Britt and wife Janice of Little River, SC, and Steve Louis Britt of Los Angeles, CA; two step daughters, Glenda Lewis of Thomasville, NC and Kay Walters of Orrum, NC; one brother, David Britt of Florence, SC; one step brother, Dan Lewis of Orrum, NC; one sister, Becky Ann Merritt of Florence, SC; and one grandchild, Natalie Rene Britt.
Funeral services will be held Sunday January 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Roy Locklear officiating.
Burial will follow at the Iona Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday January 12, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
