Mr. Robert Edward "Bobby" Bodiford, Jr., age 85, of Lumberton, NC, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 8, 2022, surrounded by his family.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on July 4, 1936 to the late Robert Edward Bodiford, Sr. and the late Virginia Stone Bodiford.  He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Hubert Bodiford, Gene Bodiford, and Melvin Bodiford.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lou Bodiford of the home; two daughters, Tamme Anderson (Shon) and Sandi Nicoll (Todd), all of Lumberton, NC; three brothers: Jerry Bodiford (Helen) of Lumberton, NC, Mike Bodiford (Rose) of Charleston, SC, and Ronnie Bodiford (Debra) of Lumberton, NC; one sister, Diane Wrampe (Darryl) of Clinton, NC; six grandchildren: Jake Guedry, Christian Kelbaugh, Madison Bolin, Kylie Anderson, Holden Nicoll, and Haley Nicoll; and a special friend, Jackie Wilkins of Lumberton, NC.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 6:00-8:00PM at West Lumberton Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 1:00PM at West Lumberton Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Foreman officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
