Bobbie Ruth Martin's Obituary
Bobbie Ruth Grice Martin, age 84, of Lumberton, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Woodhaven Nursing Center in Lumberton. She was born July 21, 1933 in Columbus County to the late Percy Collins Grice and the late Ruth Smith Grice. She was formerly employed as secretary for Martin's Body Shop.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Donald Martin.
She is survived by her children: James Guy Martin and wife Julia, Michael Donald Martin and wife Jerri-Lynn, and Theresa Martin Conner and husband David, all of Lumberton; 7 grandchildren: Kyle Martin, Chad Martin, Chris Conner and wife Lou, Benji Conner, Courtney Britt and husband Jason, Summer Martin, and Kristi Britt and husband Tré; and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert Hester officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
