Mrs. Bobbie Jean Icard Floyd, age 69, of Evergreen, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Columbus County Hospital in Whiteville. She was born in Robeson County on April 22, 1942 to the late Norfleet B. Icard and Mazelle Shaw Icard.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Floyd is survived by her husband, James C. ??Pete? Floyd, of the home; one son, Mark Floyd of Evergreen, NC; two daughters, Carla Floyd Bass and husband, Timmy of Fairmont and Kimberly Floyd Sellers and husband, Patrick of Hallsboro, NC; one sister, Carol Icard Harrison of Evergreen and three grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2:00PM at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery in Evergreen with Rev. Bryan Blackwell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
