Blummey Lambert Brooks, age 86, of Fairmont, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 3pm at New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church with Revs. Johnny Locklear and Scott Hammonds officiating.

Burial will follow in New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday night from 7-9pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Ms. Brooks was born November 11, 1931 in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her husband Toby Brooks, three sons, Raymond Daryl Hunt, Michael Hunt and Mickey Hunt; one daughter, Gale Brooks; a granddaughter, Natalee Marlena Hunt; five brothers, Cleveland Oxendine, Tafford Lambert, David Lambert, Clint Oxendine and Governor Lambert; two sisters, Treva Oxendine and Ruby Lambert Oxendine.

She is survived by a son, Rev. Jeff Hunt and wife Mary of Lumberton; a daughter, Cynthia Brooks Medina and fiancé Michael of Fairmont; nine grandchildren, Michael Kevin Hunt, Francine Hunt, Nina Hunt, Michelle Hunt, Brittany Hunt, Raymond Hunt, Jr. Raymond Rogers, Christy Shipman and Alex Medina of the home; nineteen great-grandchildren; a special dear friend, Judy Hunt and a great host of other relatives and friends.
