Mr. Billy Wayne Rouse, age 64, of Barnesville, departed this life on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. Billy was born February 22, 1949, in Lumberton. He attended Southeastern Community College and continued his education at Robeson Community College. He worked as a Paramedic Supervisor with Robeson County EMS until his retirement in January 2012. He continued his love for farming in his retirement. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening, July 30, 2013 from 7-9 P.M. at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Jane Thames. He is survived by a host of family, friends, and loved ones including his father, Willie Rouse; his children, David Rouse and wife DeeDee; daughters, Angela Rouse Greene and husband Jody, Marsha Lynn Davis and husband Kenny, and Karen Rouse; a special friend, Selina Locklear and her children, Devin and Casey; and three grandchildren, William Marshall Rouse, Casey Davis, and Colin Davis.
