Billy Morris Britt, age 76, of Lumberton, NC died on Friday, January 20, 2017 at his home. He was born in Robeson County, NC on November 24, 1940 to the late Benjamin and Annie Ruth Lee Britt.  He previously worked as an insurance salesman.

Mr. Britt is survived by his wife, Peggy Herring Britt of the home; sons, Benji Britt and David Britt of Lumberton; daughters, Lisa B. Taylor (Tony) of Bladenboro and Teresa B. Parnell (Alan) of Lumberton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

The funeral service will be on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 2:oo PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark Meadows officiating.  Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
