Mr. Billy Junior Pittman, age 80, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026. He was born in Scotland County, NC, on May 29, 1946 to the late Billy Bullock & Ella Pittman Hester.

Mr. Billy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and later worked for Pepsi Co. for many years. Also, he was the owner-operator of Blanton's Old-Fashion Bakery.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Pittman; his second wife, Mary Pittman; two brothers, Craven Hester and Dickie Hester.

He is survived by his son, Don Pittman; his daughter, Sharon Martin; his stepson, Edward Hester; his stepdaughter, Amy Hammonds; his grandchildren: John Martin, Alyssa Pittman, Kayla Hammonds, Calista Hammonds, Craven Hester, Braxton Hester, and Abby Hester; great-grandchildren: Chase Martin, Liam Martin, Ethan Martin, and Ariel Epps; and his sisters, Debbie Bledsole and Vicki Hendren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
