Beverly Lanier Britt, age 72, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. She was born in New Hanover County, NC on May 22, 1951, to the late Harvey Giles Lanier and the late Hazel Cavanaugh Jenkins.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Cameron Paul Britt.

She is survived by her husband, Cameron Byrd Britt of the home; her father, Roy Jenkins of Castle Hayne, NC; her children, Charmin DaNeen Padgett (Steve) of Wilmington, NC and Shawn Ray Padgett (Lisa) of Beulahville, NC; her granddaughter, Presleigh Elise Padgett; her sisters, Gwenn Price (Greg) of Wilmington, NC and Julie Chase Ayers (Robert) of Hampstead, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church, 5089 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mark Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery.
