Betty Joyce "Toddie" Oxendine, age 79, of Fairmont, NC passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Fairmont, NC.

She was born August 10 1942 in Robeson County to the late Lacy Oxendine and Armanda Jacobs Oxendine.

She was a sewing machine operator for many years at Fairmont Knitting Mill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benford "Ben" Oxendine; two sons, Calvin Oxendine, and Dale "Peck" Oxendine.

She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Norma Jean Oxendine of Rowland, NC; three grandchildren, Norelle Oxendine, Cody Locklear and Dana Locklear, all of Pembroke; three great-grandchildren, Bentley C. Oxendine, Timberly C. Chavis and Joshua Parnell; two brothers, Larry Oxendine of Lumberton and Lacy Oxendine, Jr. of Thomasville; three sisters, Alice Jacobs of Lumberton, Retha J. Locklear of Raynham and Barbara Burckhart of High Point; a special friend, Betty Mickens; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A walk-through visitation will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from noon until 2:30 pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. A graveside service will be held following the visitation at 3:00 pm at New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church Cemetery.
