Mrs. Betty Rose Taylor, age 79, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, at her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on August 26, 1941 to the late Perry Britt and the late Emma Britt.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings: Jimmy Britt, Jean Nobles, and Morris Britt; and a son, Richard Albert Britt.

She is survived by her husband, Culley "Shorty" Taylor of the home; four children: Kay Pittman (David) of Orrum, NC and Joyce Morgan (Michael), Roy Britt (Linda), Lynn McNeill (Randy), all of Lumberton, NC; eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. and three siblings: Sue Simmons (John) of Rowland, NC, and Johnny Britt (Debbie) and James Britt, both of Orrum, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. O'Neill Parker officiating.
