Betty Rose Spivey Tedder, 79, of 507 W. 33rd Street in Lumberton, NC died on March 10, 2009. Mrs. Tedder was born October 22, 1929. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Spivey, Sr. and Sally Bryan Spivey; her husband of 42 years, Hilton O. Tedder; and her sisters, Helen Elizabeth Dew of Ft. Laurerdale, FL, Alice Amrrett \\"Amy\\" Robas of Okeechobee, FL.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff Tedder of Lumberton, NC and Greg Tedder of Chaleston, SC; one daughter, Debbie (Jerry) Nunnery of Lumberton, NC; three sissters, Lula Snow of Wilmington, NC, Lillian Blake of Waynesville, NC and Joan Teague of Port St. Lucie, FL; two brothers, Bill Spivey and Raymond Spivey, Jr. both of Lumberton, NC; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont, NC and other times at the home, 507 W. 33rd Street, Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Fairmont Cemetery at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Marshall Locklear officiating.
