Betty Wilkins Sessoms, age 80, of Maryville, TN, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at her home. She was born to Seth and Evelyn Wilkins on December 27, 1933 in Robeson County. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church in Maryville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Carl Wilkins and Edward Wilkins of Lumberton and her sister, Bobbie Jean Marshburn, of Wallace, NC. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Patterson of Orange Beach, Ala., Donna Sessoms and husband Tom Jagodinski of Panama City Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Kathy, Kristy and William; great-granddaughters, AnKara and Nadia; brother, Jack Wilkins and wife Nancy of Hendersonville, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 3:00PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Maryville First United Methodist Church, 804 Montvale Station Road, Maryville, TN 37803.
